Our Partners

Educate for Africa partners with dynamic, grass-roots organisations working directly with children. Educate for Africa is fortunate to be able to hand-pick partners based on existing relations, impact of programmes, and strong linkages with end users. This helps to improve accountability and to ensure that funds are spent as intended and the impact felt by the children involved.

In its initial phase, Educate for Africa has chosen to partner with two key organisations. However if you are interested in being considers please contact us.

Sue’s Legacy

Educate for Africa was started by Susan (Sue) Brown after she was diagnosed with terminal cancer, as a way to ensure that her vision and work continued. Sue was an passionate educator and worked tirelessly to improve quality of and access to education for children from under-resourced backgrounds.

She started the Combretum Education Trust and wished to expand her work beyond the trust, throughout Namibia and the sub-continent. Educate for Africa is run by passionate Educationalists who are committed to Sue’s legacy and ensuring that it thrives.
